Tales from the Dark Star
Halloween shows at the Elmwood playhouse became a staple for a few years. Monies were raised for various organisations including the theatre itself.
‘Notes from the Attic’
It has been sometimes interesting, other times amusing or educational, to read my various ‘Notes from the Attic’ from the programmes along the way. This one has a trick baked into it. Tom and I liked having fun by putting in things which would amuse us, not necessarily the audience. This ‘conceit of youth’ was that the radio show ‘Tales from the Dark Star’, which I waxed and waned about, never existed. This project of Vincent Price was dreamed up. It even fooled me! As I was writing this, I had forgotten the ‘Trick’ of this Halloween show and looked up the show. LOL!!! The evening actually consisted of a bunch of stories which Tom and weaved together.
