The Regina Monologues
‘The Regina Monologues’ was the next piece I chose to direct. The play was set in modern dress but was, in fact, a look at the six wives of King Henry the eighth. Where they each tell their story from the funeral parlor where ‘Henry’ lays in his coffin. Their tales of Royal intimacy are laid out in unvarnished truth. As each woman succumbs to the power and ego of the man, they have married.
