POSTER
Many moons ago, in 1998 the Sci-fi channel had Star Trek alums Leonard Nimoy and John De Lancie. Perform a trio of Halloween stories in the style of an old radio show from the 1940s with their ‘Alien Voices’ company. I fell in love with it. I myself had grown up with radio shows playing in my ears and this inspired my own foray into this medium. Soon after, ‘The Nasty Attic Players’ performed ‘The Shadow Hour’ at the Helen Hayes theatre. We went on to do many Halloween radio shows over the years for different causes and in celebration of people who had left us. This year one of my closest friends, John Whitely, had lost his battle with Cancer and I decided to recreate the ‘Alien Voices’ production. I added three more stories to the original line up and invented our own radio show called the Haunted Library. From which a ghostly figure called the ‘Dead Librarian’ hosted the stories.
